- Hulk Hogan will be joining former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman as a “power personality” for Rent-A-Center. Hogan is scheduled to start being a pitchman for the company later this month.

- The man behind the Suicide mask at this weekend’s TNA live events is Frankie Kazarian. The Suicide character is still planned to be kept but other names are under consideration for the role. It was believed before that Kiyoshi would be playing the role but apparently other names are still under consideration.

- Devin sent the following: TNA has announced that the Sacrifice pay-per-view will take place on May 16 at the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida.

- As seen on last night’s iMPACT, Frankie “Kaz” Kazarian made his return to action without the Suicide gimmick. Word is that Kiyoshi will be playing the role of Suicide from now on.

- Kurt Angle worked this week’s TNA iMPACT tapings but it’s said he clearly wasn’t at his best. Kurt is battling back and calf injuries and was telling people at the tapings that he’s expecting to work a lighter house show schedule. As noted before, Angle has recently asked for a lighter schedule from the company. Some in TNA feel that it would be right to write Kurt off TV and give him more time off to heal from his injuries. Friends of Angle’s say that he’s struggling physically more than usual right now.

Some websites are putting out what they call nude pictures of Kazarian (which consist of the male athlete hiding his bits and pieces in one picture a shot of his butt in another picture – neither of which show his face). It is unconfirmed if the nude pictures are actually of Frankie Kazarian or if they are being mixed in with other pictures of the wrestler so that they appear to be of him.

Hulk Hogan comes out and says everyone is talking about TNA. He says tonight the impact zone is on full lockdown. He has done this because of The Band taking out Nash last week. Eric Young comes out and says that he and Nash are friends and wants Waltman and Hall to be let in. Hogan says that Eric is one of the handful of guys that made him want to come to TNA. He says that the lockdown is a done deal. He says he would do what Nash would do and go out to them. Hogan says just take it off the property and ‘bust them up real good’. The two shake hands.

TNA X Division Champion Doug Williams defeats Amazing Red via Chaos Theory to retain the TNA X Division title.

The Beautiful People (Lacey Von Erich, Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne) defeat TNA Knockouts Champion Tara and Angelina Love in a Handicap match. Angelina had Velvet down for the three count, but the referee was distracted by Madison having Tara in a choke. While the referee was distracted Lacey hit Angelina with the ugly stick allowing Velvet to pin Love. After the match the Beautiful People beat down Tara and Angelina with Lacey hitting Tara with the ugly stick.

Angle comes out in his ring gear. He calls out Hogan’s boys. (Maybe he was jumped in the back) Waltman and Hall come in through the crowd. Angle gets the upper hand and puts Hall in the ankle lock. Waltman pulls out brass knuckles and hits Angle in the back of the head with them. Hall and Waltman put the boots to Angle until Hogan comes out and appears to be aligned with Hall and Waltman. Hall and Waltman pick up Angle so Hogan can lay Angle out with the brass knuckles. Hogan hits both Hall and Waltman instead and leaves the ring. Angle has a confused look on his face as Hogan heads to the back.

- As seen last week on iMPACT, TNA President Dixie Carter essentially said during her speech at the top of the hour that anyone who wasn’t on board with her recent changes to the organization should find work elsewhere. As it turns out, five wrestlers had asked for their releases from the company in recent weeks including Frankie Kazarian (a.k.a. Suicide) and Homicide — we don’t have the names of the three other wrestlers. Nobody received their release in the end.

- At the last set of TNA iMPACT tapings, Frankie “Suicide” Kazarian reportedly asked for his release from TNA because he’s frustrated with his creative direction. TNA officials originally agreed to grant him the release but AJ Styles and Daniels stepped in to fix the situation, so the release was never finalized.

Later on at the same tapings, an upset Vince Russo reportedly approached TNA World Champion AJ Styles. Russo was not happy because he heard Styles told Dixie Carter that a wrestler should be on the TNA creative team. Russo blew up at Styles and Styles came back with complaints about being booked as a weak World Champion, as we noted the other day. One witness says Russo was so upset that he threw his cup of coffee.

Styles, Daniels and Suicide have expressed their frustrations to friends and it appears most of their issues are with Vince Russo.

- Reports coming out of Bound For Glory last night say that Daniels suffered a separated shoulder after his fall during the Ultimate X match. Daniels also is said to be suffering from a badly bruised neck. Suicide, who also took the bump, is said to be suffering from some bad bumps and bruises but not as bad as Daniels.

- The woman that Tara went into the crowd at during the Knockouts Title match last night was MMA fighter and ex-wife of Randy Couture, Kim Couture. The angle was planned and the cameras missing the action was done to make it look like a shoot. Couture and Tara have exchanged words online lately about fighting each other for the Strikeforce promotion.

- Apparently D’Angelo Dinero left the Bound For Glory show early Sunday due to a family emergency. The Motor City Machineguns took his spot in the Ultimate X match after defeating Lethal Consequences on the pre-show.
