There were several reports circling the Internet last night that the new WWE Divas Champion — Maryse — injured her knee at the house show in Raleigh, NC from 12/28. There was doubt over the credibility of the injury as WWE has worked a lot of injury spots in divas house show matches as of late.

As it turns out, Maryse’s injury was legit as she dislocated her kneecap, after what’s believed to be a bad landing. Not much more is known at this time. This is very unfortunate as Maryse just won the Divas Championship this past Friday night on SmackDown!, although it seemed the main feud that come out of it was Maria vs. Michelle McCool, in McCool’s long booked heel turn.
