WWE Releases Three More Wrestlers
Written by: Eddie T. on Monday, November 10th, 2008

The series of cuts continues in WWE, as three more people were released today, all being wished “the best” in their future endeavors. The victims were:

1) Kenny Dykstra

At one point in time, he was seen as the future of this business. Then came the dorky Spirit Squad gimmick. He never recovered. He stepped on some people’s feet backstage, but nothing major. I guess they finally gave up on him.

2) Lena Yada

Purely financial reasons.

3) Elijah Burke

This one is just weird, having in mind everything Elijah Burke has been through including trying to recover his home and family after a hurricane struck his home. He’s been available for a while and nobody knows why WWE has not used him. He’s been sending cryptic messages on his site, and also has a short commentary on his releas — http://www.theelijahexpress.com/

  1. Aaron George says:

Kenny’s wrestling career in WWE was buried way back in august when Triple gave him the Pedigree.

I am not looking to pin your shoulders to the mat… I could care less about stealing the show. I have one thing — and one thing only on mind – an eye for an eye. — Shawn Michaels, Monday Night RAW, August 25, 2008
