TNA “Live and in HD” Impact Ratings Controversy
Written by: Joe on Sunday, October 26th, 2008

Source: Various

It appears that there is a controversy over how TNA scored in the ratings for the live show in Las Vegas. The show, the company’s first in high definition, featured Mick Foley becoming the “Major Shareholder” in TNA, Kurt Angle announcing the formation of the Main Event Mafia, Awesome Kong regaining the TNA Knockouts Championship, and Booker T unveiling the TNA Legends Championship.

Some websites are reporting that the show scored a 1.1 rating – which is what the company usually scores for its “big event” shows. Meanwhile, original reports had the show at a 1.3 rating which would reflect kindly on the company’s efforts to showcase its talents during the live broadcast.
