Brock Lesnar discussed his time in WWE in an interview with ESPN as well as discussing the transition over to MMA and the UFC.

Lesnar, who departed WWE back in 2004 citing a lack of passion for the business and the travel involved, told ESPN E:60 of his mental and physical pain as a result of being on the road for most of the year.

On the subject of injuries sustained during his time with WWE, Lesnar told ESPN: “I’ve torn both of my knees up. Severe back pain. Ribs. Neck issues.

“I wrestled with my MCL blown out and three broken ribs and I wrestled that way for six months because I had just become the champion.”

“You’re going 300 days a year and you’re miserable,” he added, stating that every night was like the last one.

He also revealed, that doesn’t even remember two years of his time in the company because of “vodka and pain pills,” also admitting that he was well aware that he had taken too many pills.

What a great segment that was on E:60. My favorite line had to be Brock’s comments to the quote from Couture that he feels younger than he was 10 years ago — “I’m 31 years old and I don’t feel as young I was 10 years ago.” You gotta love Brock! He’ll make it in this business thanks to his time in pro wrestling.
